- 90 Punkte Robert Parkers WINE ADVOCATE (6/2016), Stephan Reinhardt: "The NV Blanc de Blancs Brut is based on the 2013 vintage (78%) and adds the reserve from a 17-years-old solera, which brings complexity and the house signature. It was disgorged in November, 2015. The wine opens light and bright on the nose, very clear and fresh, indicating apple flavors along with discreet lemon aromas. Intense and slightly juicy on the palate, this is a lovely aperitif and will also match lighter dishes. The finish is seriously mineral and chalky, so pretty, complex and authentic Côte de Blancs.
Gilles Lancelot produces lean, light, bright and crisp, spring-like Champagnes of remarkable purity and freshness. To obtain the clear and straight house style, the wines are fermented in stainless steel. The finest wines are Blanc de Blancs from grands crus in the Côte des Blancs."

- Champagner-Spezialist PETER LIEM: "Half of this blend is grand cru chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs, while the other half comes from Monthelon and Mancy in the Coteaux Sud d’Epernay. About 20 percent is reserve wine from a perpetual cuvée, meaning that the other 80 percent comes from 2011, and this wine clearly shows the conundrum of that year: it’s marked by an ashy, vegetal character that one might normally attribute to a lack of maturity, yet its fruit flavors are clearly ripe, showing fleshy, full-bodied notes of peach, apple, mandarin orange and guava. It’s supported by a tense, lively spine of acidity that balances all of the components very well, but in the end, your appreciation for this wine is going to depend largely on your tolerance for the peculiarity of 2011. Last tasted: 4/14."
- 4* Gerhard Eichelmann: "Zeigt feine Würze und Frische, reife klare Frucht, ist frisch, geradlinig, lebhaft, zupackend, leicht salzig, mineralisch, nachhaltig."
- David Schildknecht auf „I started out noting the simple, juicy apple and lemon fruit matrix of Lancelot-Pienne’s NV Brut Blanc de Blancs L002; its piquantly lemon zesty, toasty, briny and crab stock-like inflections; and its tart persistence – all positive-enough characteristics. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to revisit the bottle after an hour or so and found it had taken on lovely scents of rowan, honeysuckle and extracts of almond and pistachio, all of which had their alluring inner-mouth appeal, too. This lovely, fairly priced bottling should give great pleasure over at least the next two years
Gilles Lancelot is an occasional oenology instructor whose family has been growing wine in Cramant, Avize, and eventually also Chouilly since the end of the 19th century. His great-grandfather was the head winemaker at Mumm and – whether or not coincidentally – Lancelot now occupies the former Mumm show cellar in Cramant

- Tom Stevenson, World Encyclopedia of Champagne & Sparkling Wine: „Has lovely fresh, zingy, zippy, sherbety fruit with a mouthwateringly crisp finish

- 90 Punkte VINOUS Antonio Galloni: "(all Cramant fruit; L002): Bright straw. Highly aromatic nose evokes lime zest, lemongrass, quinine, ginger and chalky minerals. Sappy and precise on the palate, with densely packed, juicy citrus fruit flavors showing a refreshing hint of austerity. Opens up and deepens with air while retaining its focus and nerviness. Finishes minerally, vibrant and long, with zesty acidity and lingering spiciness."
