He has pulled this off as brilliantly as I have ever seen it with the 2013 base. To achieve such impeccable expression of red berry fruits, stone fruits and citrus even with a majority of barrel fermentation is a feat few in Champagne can achieve. Bereche melds all this seamlessly with nuances of toast and almonds from lees age, contrasting with bright malic acidity and softly mineral chalk texture, finishing with wonderful, lingering, bright red cherry fruit and the energy to age confidently for the short term."

Exhibiting a glass bouquet of citrus oil, oyster shell, fresh peach and toasted nuts, it's medium to full-bodied, racy and tensile, with lovely depth and concentration, fine energy and a long, penetrating finish."
