- 93 Punkte FALSTAFF, Peter Moser: „Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, dunkler Kern, zarte Randaufhellung. Reife Frucht, süße Pflaumen, ein Hauch von Feigen, Nugat und Kardamom klingen an. Komplex, schwarze Herzkirschen, schokoladige Textur, reife, tragende Tannine, bleibt gut haften, bereits entwickelt, ein würziger Speisenbegleiter.“

- 93 Punkte DECANTER, Jane Anson: „Inky depths, one of the most concentrated Oliviers I have seen in terms of its colour. This hangs in tightly from the start, is not afraid of flexing its tannins, not exuberant but there is plenty of flavour here. Recommend giving it a good six to eight years to soften, but it is showing confidence and depth of flavour. Spicy black pepper and liquorice notes - great quality actually. A little bitter on the finish, as I am finding with several, as the concentration just overtakes the final sign off. Good though, I recommend.“

Dense and aromatic too. Well constituted and really sappy and appetising. True to appellation.“

- 92 Punkte JEB DUNUCK: „Lots of red and black currants, loamy earth, leather, and dried herb notes emerge from the 2020 Château Olivier, a medium to full-bodied, nicely concentrated, textured 2020 with some serious charm. I love its balance, and it's complex, with ripe, velvety tannins and a great finish. Drink this beauty over the coming 15 years.“

- 92 Punkte JAMES SUCKLING: „Flamboyant red fruits and stone with some bark character. It’s medium-bodied with a layered tannin character. Delicious and bright finish. Polished. Drink after 2026.“

- 93 Punkte JANE ANSON: „Excellent quality, wonderful touch of deep black pepper and red pepper spice from the Petit Verdot that has added an extra layer of complexity to Olivier since its arrival in 2014. This has a beautiful grip and sense of controlled power and evolution through the palate, serious and concentrated, sappy on the finish.“
