- 98 Punkte JEB DUNNUCK (11/2022): „As to the Grand Vin 2019 Château Pape Clement, it reveals a dense purple hue to go with stunning aromatics of crème de cassis, graphite, lead pencils shavings, scorched earth, and tobacco. Beautifully balanced, with flawless tannins, this full-bodied Pessac has that rare mix of elegance and power, a great mid-palate, and again, perfect balance. It's one of the gems of the vintage and has some accessibility today given its purity and balance, yet deserves 4-5 years of bottle age and will cruise for 20-25 years or more in cold cellars. The blend is equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, brought up in two-thirds new French oak.“ 2026-2052

- 97 Punkte James Suckling (12/2022): „Crushed-stone and berry aromas with some blackberry and black-tea character. Just a touch of smokiness. Sweet fruit, too. This is so refined, subtle, and beautiful for Pape with full body, ultra-fine tannins and a succulent finish. The center-palate is dense and complete. Goes on for minutes. So subtle and refined, focused and classy. Try after 2026.“

- 97 Punkte VINOUS, Antonio Galloni: "The 2019 Pape Clément Blanc is just as impressive as it was en primeur. It Shows all of the textural richness that is so typical of Bernard Magrez´s wines, but with an extra kick of freshness that provids Energy as well as a sense of Proportion. A wine of stature, the 2019 is so classy. Succulent black cherry, plum, Mocha, new leather and licorice are all beautifully delineated. But more than anything else, I find the wine´s Energy really imprssive. This is a fabulous vintage for Pape Clément. Tasted two times." 2027-2039

- Parkers WINE ADVOCATE, William Kelley (04/2022): „The 2019 Pape Clément has turned out well in bottle, delivering a rich bouquet of cherries, blackcurrants, plum liqueur and blackberries mingled with notions of burning embers, licorice and a nicely integrated framing of new oak. Full-bodied, deep and concentrated, it's a layered, fleshy wine, with a deep core of ripe but lively fruit, plenty of powdery tannin and a long, expansive, discreetly heady finish. This is a powerful, dramatic Pessac with a transatlantic accent and will drink well with only a few years' bottle age.“ 2026-2049

- 95-97 Punkte Robert Parkers WINE ADVOCATE, Lisa Perrotti-Brown: "A blend of 46% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Semillon and 14% Sauvignon Gris, the 2019 Blanc was harvested from the 30th of August to the 13th of September. It was vinified in various types of vessels. Sixty percent was fermented in French oak barrels of varying capacities ranging from 225 to 500 liters, 22% of which were new. Seven percent was fermented in concrete eggs. Seventeen percent was fermented in large, French oak foudres, with 44% new. And 16% was fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. The nose of this nascent beauty was locked up tight for the first few minutes, eventually unfurling to offer subtle scents of fresh pineapple, green guava, kumquat and lemon zest with an emerging core of honey-drizzled white peach, chopped almonds and oyster shells plus a waft of baker's yeast. Medium-bodied, the palate is beautifully nuanced and poised, delivering fantastic intensity with a racy backbone and gorgeous satiny texture, finishing with epic length. Stunning."

- 95 Punkte WINE ENTHUSIAST, Roger Voss: "Barrel Sample. This fine wine shows rich tropical fruit balanced by fine acidity. As is normal with this estate, the wine's wood aging characters show, but the rich fruit is perfectly capable of matching the oak in intensity. It will certainly age well."

- 94 Punkte DECANTER, jane Anson:  "Finely balanced between richly textured and restrained savoury white pear and citrus fruits. Walks the line between the two, far more successful to my taste than it did perhaps a decade ago, when this was a bigger style of white. You can clearly tell that this has impact and confidence, but it is beautifully complex and well-put together. Fermented in barrel, large sized oak casks and (15%) in cement egg-shaped vats. Harvest August 30 to September 12. Consultant Michel Rolland. Tasted twice two weeks apart. Drinking Window 2021 – 2032"

- 19 Punkte Rene Gabriels BORDEAUX TOTAL, Andre Kunz: "Kunz Fassprobe 2020: (50% Merlot, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% vol. Alkohol) Konzentriertes, samtenes, komplexes, dunkles Bouquet, Pflaumen, Moccacreme, Lakritze, schwarze Schokolade, Mahagoni, fein Dörrfrüchte, zart Eukalyptus. Dichter, vielschichtiger, kraftvoller Gaumen mit dichter, dunkler Frucht, viel feinem Tannin, cremiger, zart opulenter Struktur, vielfältiger, kräftiger Aromatik, sehr langer, samtener Abgang mit vielen Rückaromen."

- 18,5 Punkte WEINWISSER: "50 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 50 % Merlot, 14 %-vol..
