Medium to full-bodied, elegant, and nicely concentrated on the palate, it’s going to need at least 7-8 years of bottle age, but it’s a beautiful wine."

Deep ruby colour. Powerful and dominated by black fruit on the nose – there are flecks of oak but they are subtle and well integrated. Superb intensity on the palate, just enough sweetness of fruit to coat the plentiful, ripe tannins. The oak builds complexity rather than masking the fruit in a complete mouthfeel. The chalky intensity of tannin means that this will age very well, but the succulence in the mid-palate will make for some superb drinking over a long period.“
