BLANC DE BLANCS brut Premier Cru NV
- *(*) Champagner Spezialist PETER LIEM: "This is 85 percent Mareuil-sur-Aÿ and 15 percent Oiry and Chouilly, with 35 percent of the blend made up of reserve wines. It’s flowery and fragrant, with an elegant and elongated structure, and while it shows the body and presence of a Mareuil champagne, the finesse and chalkiness of the Côte des Blancs vineyards are very much in evidence as well. This is an excellent edition of this cuvée, and it’s already showing superbly well. Last tasted: 3/17"
BRUT SELECTION Premier Cru NV
- *(*) Champagner Spezialist PETER LIEM: "Most of this is pinot noir from 40- to 55-year-old vines in Mareuil, while the 30 percent of chardonnay in the blend is half Mareuil and half from Oiry and Chouilly. It’s 85 percent 2012, with 15 percent of reserve wine from 2010, and the concentration of the 2012 vintage is evident, making the wine feel big and bold while retaining the elegant poise and refined build typical of Hébrart’s champagnes. It finishes with finesse and length, and it promises to develop more complexity with further aging in the cellar. Last tasted: 3/17"

- Höchstnote 3 * Champagner Spezialist PETER LIEM: "Fifty-five percent of this is pinot noir from Mareuil and Aÿ, while the remaining 45 percent is chardonnay from Mareuil, Oiry and Chouilly. The nose alone is authoritative and demanding, showing a deep, almost muscular concentration characteristic of the vintage yet remaining elegantly refined, without any impression of excess. It’s vivid, energetic and very long on the palate, still wound up in its youthful exuberance, and it should enjoy a long and slow development in the cellar. Last tasted: 3/17"

Despite its youth, it’s already marked by a subtle, nuanced complexity, enlivened by a vibrant chalkiness, and it finishes with superb length and finesse.
