„More dream than plan, The Offering began with days spent in the vines, late nights in the cellar, and thoughts of redemtion. My prized cuvee from seven hand-picked sites, The Offering opens a window into my mutual respect for time-honored-practices and fixation with whatever lies around the bend.

Art of the German Expressionist movement has long been an influence on Sans Liege. There is an honest darkness, a raw, visceral uncertainty, that resonates with my story and the story of my wines. When I happened upon New York artist Gene Ploss, I felt that his work shared an energy with mine. Art in that style has since been a focus of my label design.“(Curt Schalchlin)

Its compelling nose is deep, exotic, and a little spicy, with wild currants, jasmine tea, cold charcuterie, and dried English rose petals. The complementary palate follows with an untamed tension between the primary and secondary flavors, revealing very concentrated and focused fruits that carry an incredible freshness, surrounded by a supporting cast of flavors that beautifully carry it through a long, complex finish.
