The result is a fabulous Chardonnay that is layered and focused, offering inviting aromas of lemon oil, Asian Pear, white florals and a lovely underlying mineral character of crushed stones all taking shape in the glass. On the palate this possesses a beautiful round texture, with a deep core of delicious fruit, which is balanced by a perfect touch of acidity to add a sense of freshness through the finish. This is a sensational showing from David Ramey that certainly impresses today, however it should also go on to drink beautifully with some additional bottle age.“
