SIMON FIELD MW: Fulsome colour and temperamentally big-boned , this is an impressive example. The six grams of residual sugar finely knit into a texture of ripe, red-berried fruit. The finish has an ethereal poise, brought down to earth by just a hint of spice. TIM HALL: Immediately vital in the mouth. Very chewy and demanding, a serious champagne but pretty exciting. Citrus character but with complex fruit and a pretty lingering finish. I like this!"

- 92 Punkte JEB DUNNUCK, Audrey Frick (12/2024): “ A rich copper/golden color, the NV Champagne Premier Cru Platine Extra Brut is pleasing and fresh on the nose, leading with notes of toasted bread, peach, floral perfume, and almond. It’s composed of 58% Pinot Noir, 31% Chardonnay and the rest Meunier, from the villages of Bouzy, Villers Allerand, and Ecueil, and was raised in barrel without going through malolactic fermentation. Medium to full-bodied and fully dry, it has a pleasing light spice on the palate with a chalky texture, and as it opens, it leans into its deeper red-fruited profile on the palate, with a rather long finish. It’s quite impressive and is a lovely wine once it opens, so give it some air if opening at this early stage and drink over the next 6- 8 years. It has the addition of 2.5 grams per liter dosage and was disgorged in January of 2024. 2024-2033“

The nose is slightly reduced opening into a note of dark honey and russet apple. Very fine mousse on a rounded body is immediately apparent on the Pinot-led palate that still smolders with reductive smokiness. Yet there is a FLOW AND AN EASE to the body, beautiful chalky depth and rye bread autolysis. RESONANT, CLASSY, ELEGANT. Dosage is 3,5 g/l. Disgorged February 2022. 2023-2030."
- 92 Punkte Robert Parkers WINE ADVOCATE, William Kelley: "Based on the 2015 vintage, complemented by fully 50% reserve wines, the NV Brut Premier Cru Platine ferments in recently used barrels with native yeasts and sees more than six months on the lees before tirage. Offering up aromas of crisp yellow orchard fruits, beeswax, almond paste and white flowers, it's medium to full-bodied, vinous and concentrated, with lovely depth at the core, brisk acids and a long, sapid finish. It was disgorged in November 2019 with six grams per liter dosage."

The wine is rich while well balanced and ripe. Now with just the right amount of bottle aging, it is full in the mouth, showing attractive apple and ripe pear flavors. The aftertaste is soft and fresh."
