- 92-94 Punkte Robert Parkers WINE ADVOCATE: "The 2015 Tour Saint-Christophe, owned by Peter Kwok since 2012, is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc cropped at 33 hl/ha between 3-16 October and matured in 40% new oak. It has an intense nose, perhaps slightly on the alcoholic side due to the Merlot (14.8%). The palate is more controlled and refined. There is still some new oak to be absorbed, but the tannins seem fine, and it is endowed with blood orange and citrus fruit lending freshness and tension on the long, sensual finish. Bottle-age will temper the nose and it should ultimately turn into A VERY IMPRESSIVE SAINT EMILION."

Dieses 20 ha Weingut wurde 2012 vom gebürtigen Vietnamesen Peter Kwok und seiner Tochter Karen erworben. Das Chateau selbst überragt die Weinbergsterrassen auf dem Ton-Kiesel-Boden, die von Steinmauern gestützt werden. Die Weinberge mit ihren durchschnittlich 30 Jahre alten Reben sind nach Süd-Süd-Ost ausgerichtet und profitieren von einer perfekten natürlichen Drainage. Das Weingut befindet sich in St. Christophe de Bardes, in der Nähe von Chateau Valandraud und La Fleur Cardinale. Als Önologe fungiert, wie auf allen Weingütern von Peter Kwok, der erfahrene Javier Aguirre. Er lernte sein Handwerk auf namhaften Chateaux wie Petrus, Trotanoy, Le Gay und La Violette, um nur die vier Bekanntesten zu nennen. Die Weine von Chateau Tour Saint Christophe bieten ein sehr attraktives Preis-Genuss-Verhältnis. Sehr interessant ist such der zweite Weine von Chateau Tour Saint Christophe, namens Les Terrasses:

Das erste Weingut, dass Peter Kwok 1997 gemeinsam mit Tochter Elaine in Bordeaux erworben hat, ist CHATEAU HAUT BRISSON. Etwa 18 ha stehen hier mittlerweile unter Reben, nachdem über die Jahre hinweg ausgesuchte Parzellen kühlerer St. Emilion Lagen hinzugekauft wurden. 65 % Merlot, 25 % Cabernet Franc und 10 % Cabernet Sauvignon teilen sich die Rebfläche, das Durchschnittsalter der Reben beträgt etwa 30 Jahre. Auch hier wird biologischer Weinbau betrieben. Auch die Weine von Chateau Haut Brisson gelten als verhältnismässig preiswert.

- 94-95 Punkte JAMES SUCKLING: "A wonderful red with beautiful precision and depth. Full body, texture of fine silk. Blackberry and violet character. Hints of walnuts. So persistent. A much more refined style for Haut-Brission. First year without Reserve bottling. Best ever. From organically grown grapes."
- 91-93 Punkte Robert Parkers WINE ADVOCATE: "Until the 2015 vintage, all the fruit from Château Haut Brisson came from down towards Château Teyssier; however, in 2013 Peter Kwok bought a parcel located on the limestone plateau in Saint-Etienne-de-Lisse, which obviously will impact and hopefully improve the quality. The 2015 Haut Brisson is a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc cropped at 34 hl/ha and matured in 35% new oak. It has a potent, perfumed bouquet with violet-inked cassis and blueberry fruit that is very well defined. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin. This is a little more structured and classier than previous vintages, though there is some chocolaty oak on the finish that needs to be fully subsumed by the time it is bottled. Give this 2-3 years in bottle, because it is a very well-crafted Haut Brisson, though I think even better is to come."
- 91-93 Punkte WINE ENTHUSIAST: "Barrel Sample. The new wood flavors are strong here. They go with a minty character and bright acidity. The wine is dry and concentrated, with a firm core as well as juicy black fruits. It is beginning to balance well."

This is an especially dark, brooding St.-Émilion built on full-throttle richness and opulence. But there is also plenty of character, especially for such an intense style. Haut-Brisson is 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc."

2012 konnte Peter Kwok auch Chateau La Patache in Pomerol erwerben, es wurde im Anschluss umfangreich modernisiert. 3,2 ha stehen hier unter Reben, ca. 85 % Merlot und 15 % Cabernet Franc. Das Durchschnittsalter der Reben beträgt etwa 25 Jahre. Das Weingut hat eine lange Geschichte, ist sogar auf napolionischen Karten eingezeichnet. So ist etwa der heutige Barriquekeller mit seinen steinernen Mauern ein ehemaliges Postamt. Auch hier kann man sagen, für einen Pomerol sind die Weine sehr preiswert, auch in Anbetracht der Qualität.

That's all good, because this wine will come together well, to give a rich full wine with spice, juicy black fruits and acidity. Drink from 2020."
- 91 Punkte INTERNATIONAL WINEREPORT: "The 2014 Badine De La Patache slowly opens to inviting aromas of ripe cherries followed by violets, spcies, tobacco and hints of roasted coffee. Medium-bodied and well balanced, supported by a lovely silky texture which persists through the lingering finish. Today this is already shows some appealing characteristics, but I expect it to be at its best with just another year or two of cellaring. (Best 2018-2023)"
