- Robert Parkers WINE ADVOCATE, Lisa Perrotti-Brown: "A barrel sample blended of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 1% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot, the deep garnet-purple colored 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon reveals scents of dried roses, kirsch and black cherries with touches of bay leaves and fallen leaves. Medium-bodied with bright red and black fruits and a chewy backbone, it finishes with a lively herbal lift. 7,440 cases are estimated to be made."
- 94 Punkte VINOUS, Antonio Galloni: "The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is rich and boisterous in feel, with good energy and terrific balance for the year. Sweet floral notes, blood orange and spice add shades of nuance to a core of dark red berry fruit. More than anything else, though, I am very pleasantly surprised by the wine's freshness and overall energy."
- 94 Punkte JAMES SUCKLING: "Aromas of currants, blackberries and violets follow through to a medium body and firm, tight tannins that give it length and structure. This needs time to soften. Better after 2022."
- 98 Punkte DECANTER, Stephen Brook: "This is absolutely delicious. Powerful, intense and concentrated with seductive black cherry and raspberry leaf aromatics. It slowly and steadily pulls you in an d compares to the very greatest Cabernets in its excitement, structure and grip. As the liquorice, chocolate and cassis notes stretch out, it comes to a mouthwateringly slow conclusion. This keeps the savoury edge of Cabernet and the tannins give focus and poise. Opulent and concentrated, and very good. 100% new oak. Drinking Window 2022-2050."

|Notizen des Weinguts:||Vintage Notes In 1995, The Coppola Family reunited the historic Inglenook property, creating a Cabernet Sauvignon that epitomized the legacy of the estate. Now, Inglenook Cabernet Sauvignon continues to be a tribute to the historic world-renowned Inglenook 1941 Cabernet Sauvi - gnon. The 1941 vintage was produced by John Daniel, Jr. from vines brought to the Ingle - nook Estate from Bordeaux by the Founder Gustave Niebaum. Today, this estate-grown wine is blended with the best lots of Cabernet Sauvignon that remain after the highly selec - tive blending of Rubicon. Winemaker’s Tasting Notes The 2014 vintage of Inglenook Cabernet Sauvignon reflects a very pure composition that contains only small amounts of Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and just a touch of Merlot. From this outstanding year emerges a smooth, generous palate with very fine dusty tannins and exemplary balance. As weighty and voluptuous as its predecessor, the flavors and fragrance of this vintage lean more heavily toward black fruits and seasoned wood. Cassis, blackberries, plums, and black currants provide juicy, mouthfilling flavors while distinct notes of cigar box, oak, graphite, and earthy spices create aromatic accents that are bound to evolve and become even more intense with bottle age. Yet, impressive density and texture already create ample allure.|
