Coppola
1871 von Niebaum gegründet, wurde das bereits damals für seine Weine bekannte Gut über die Jahre durch Prohibition, Weltkrieg und Wirtschaftskrise zerstückelt.
1975 kauften Francis und Eleanor Coppola den Besitz mit dem festen Entschluss, wieder an frühere Zeiten anzuknüpfen. So erreichte das Weingut 1995 wieder seine alte Größe und 2011 erwarb man auch das Namensrecht wieder.
Auf diesem Weg zurück zu altem Glanz wurde Philippe Bascaules mit ins Boot geholt, der ehemals bei Chateau Margaux Winemaker war.
