- Robert Parker WINE ADVOCATE: "The 2015 Les Portes de l'Am is the top cuvée, a blend of 50% Merlot, 25% Malbec and 25% Cabernet Franc that was handpicked on October 2 at 16.2 hectoliters per hectare from the oldest vines, then fermented in 320-liter to 600-liter barrels. It has a gorgeous bouquet, very pure and sensual, yes, the new oak dominant at the moment, but it is neatly embroidered into the very pure fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with sumptuous tannin, the oak very well integrated, well structured, smooth and again, sensual rather than sexy. Seamless towards the finish, it will probably be early drinking, but has the substance to age."

- VINOUS Antonio Galloni: "Domaine du Bouscat's top cuvée, the Les Portes de l'Am... boasts off the charts level of richness. Mocha, super-ripe cherry, plum and smoke race out of the glass. Today, the 2015 shows some elements of new oak from the barrel fermentation, but it is stunning, especially at this level. Unctuous, flashy and unapologetically opulent, the 2015 hits all the right notes. This is a fabulous showing. Les Portes de l'Am... emerges from a one-hectare parcel of 40+ year-old vines in owner François Dubernand's property. The blend is 50% Merlot, 25% Malbec and 25% Cabernet Franc."

- 94-95 Punkte JAMES SUCKLING: "This is amazing with such depth of fruit and beauty. Full body, velvety textured and a long, long finish. Impressive concentration and backbone."

- 91 Punkte NEAL MARTIN:
"The 2015 Les Portes de l'Am is a blend of 50% Merlot, 25% Malbec and 25% Cabernet Franc cropped at 15.2 hectoliters per hectare. It offers sumptuous aromas of macerated black cherries, violets and kirsch that, thankfully, avoid any blowsiness and remain well defined. The palate is medium-bodied with glossy red cherry fruit, touches of orange zest and spice with a sweet and generous finish that stays fresh and vibrant. This is a great Bordeaux Supérieur, although be warned that only 2,000 bottles were produced. Anticipated maturity: 2020 - 2032."

- 92 Punkte VINOUS Antonio Galloni: "The 2015 Les Portes de l'Am? is the most unctuous and flamboyant of the three wines in proprietor François Dubernand's portfolio at Domaine du Bouscat. A rush of red cherry/raspberry jam, mocha and cocoa makes a strong first impression. This racy, full-throttle red has a lot to offer. Les Portes de l'Am... emerges from a one-hectare parcel of 40+ year-old vines. The blend is 50% Merlot, 25% Malbec and 25% Cabernet Franc."

- 91-93 Punkte JEB DUNNUCK: "The top cuvee of the estate is the 2015 Domaine du Bouscat Les Portes de l'Am and it?s 50% Merlot and 25% each of Malbec and Cabernet Franc, from tiny, tiny yields, that was fermented and aged in new barrels. It?s big, ripe, full-bodied effort boasting huge notes of crème de cassis, vanilla, toasted bread and plenty of oak. There?s a lot of oak, but a lot of fruit and concentration as well. Give bottles 2-4 years of bottle age, and I suspect it will drink beautifully for 10-15 years. There are just over 100 cases made."

- Robert Parker WINE ADVOCATE: ?Consumers should be making a major effort to acquire any of these three wines, which are consistently well-made.?
?These are among three of the most potent and powerful wines I tasted in Bordeaux.?
?This is a major over-achieving, 20-acre, south-facing hillside vineyard just in the shadow of Fronsac.?
- Jeff Leve, WINE CELLAR INSIDER: ??? this represents GREAT VALUE."
- ANTONIO GALLONI: ?All three wines deliver serious quality for what have historically been exceptionally fair prices.?
