Floral and spice notes give the 2019 terrific aromatic presence as well. All the elements are so well balanced in this vibrant saint-Emilion. The 2019 is beautifully done. It’s a very elegant, poised Saint-Emilion to enjoy over the next decade or so.“

 - 92 Punkte VINOUS, Neal Martin: „The 2019 Clos la Madeleine presents a generous nose of ample red currant, cranberry and wild strawberry scents laced with pencil box and subtle musk-like scents. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent ripe tannins and good concentration, and quite fresh thanks tot he keen line of acidity. The sapid, peppery finish lingers in the mouth. This saint-Emilion (distributed via J-P Moueix) should give 12-15 years of drinking pleasure.“

Attractive fruit with fragrant morello, red-fruit notes. Hint of vanilla oak but well integrated. Palate supple but dense, the texture smooth and the tannins very fine. Clean finish and a freshness from start to finish.“
