The bouquet is clean and pure with blackberry tinged with graphite and black truffle, all nicely delineated and growing in intensity. The palate is medium-bodied with quite sharp tannins, compact and maybe leaner than some of ist peers, though with satisfying persistence on the pencil lead infused finish. Fine.“
- 91 Punkte DECANTER, Jane Anson: „This is an excellent quality Cru Bourgeois located in Cussac-Fort-Médoc, with spice, black pepper and touches of cinnamon and cassis notes. I really like how it unfurls in the glass with clear grip and a liquorice blast on the finish. Harvest September 24 to October 9, with ageing for 12 months in one third new oak. Blending completed by mid November. 3.85pH, tannin index of 86IPT. Drinking Window 2025 – 2038“
