- 90 Punkte VINOUS, Neal Martin: „The 2018 Tour Sieujean is a lesser-known Pauillac that I have followed closely for several years, since it can sometimes overperform, as it has in this vintage. It has a bright bouquet of blackberry and raspberry fruit laced with cedar and mint, showing good delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins and beautifully integrated oak, and harmonious and elegant on the finish. If you want to spend money on an expensive Pauillac, please do. If you don’t, you know where to come.“

- JEB DUNNUCK: „Slightly reductive on opening, the 2018 Château Tour Sieujean nevertheless shows more fruit with time in the glass, giving up plenty of darker currants, tobacco, and earthy nuances. Nicely textured, medium-bodied, and balanced, it has ripe tannins and solid length. It should have 10-15 years of prime drinking.“

- 92 Punkte JAMES SUCKLING: „Red plums, blackberries, mocha and violets on the nose. Some spices, too. It’s full-bodied with tight tannins. Savory on palate with a fleshy texture and a medium, flavorful finish. Try after 2023.“

This is a fresh and exotic wine on the palate with wild-raspberry flavors, framed in juicy, even-paced tannins. Good value. A blend of 90 per cent cabernet sauvignon and ten per cent merlot. Drink or hold."

- 17 Punkte RENE GABIEL: "Extrem dunkles Purpur mit lila und violetten Reflexen. Intensives Bouquet, Lakritze, schwarzer Pfeffer, Tabak und eine schier schwarzbeerige Frucht zeigend. Im Gaumen dicht, fleischig mit holundrigem Parfüm. Ein wenig bekannter Pauillac der eine herrliche Nische darstellt. Nicht zu unterschätzen."
