Degustationsnotiz von René Gabriel, kurz vor der Abfülllung: Sehr dunkles Granat mit lila Reflexen, satte Mitte. Das Bouquet dieses Jungweines ist ein Traum! Brombeeren, Cassis, schwarze Pflaumen, Heidelbeeren, von unten zeigen sich Kaffee und Edelhölzer. Dabei gibt er sich so tiefgründig wie noch nie. Im Gaumen füllig, reich und fleischig. Zeigt eine tolle Konzentration. Die Gerbstoffe sind grossartig und bereits etwas angerundet, das Finale schier überaromatisch. Dies dürfte der beste Tour-Figeac seiner Geschichte werden. Mit einem garantierten Potential von gut 25 Jahren! (19/20)."

The palate is medium-bodied with succulent, ripe black cherry fruit, black pepper and a touch of tar. I like the grip on the persistent finish and the pepperiness lingering on the aftertaste."
