- 90-92 Punkte Robert Parkers WINE ADVOCATE, Neal Martin: "The 2016 La Fleur Peyrabon has a perfumed, floral bouquet not a million miles away from Margaux. I appreciate the definition and freshness here. The palate is medium-bodied, not a powerful Pauillac but very elegant. The tannins here seem very fine and there is wonderful tension towards the finish. Maybe not a long-term proposition—it may need more body—but it is a beautiful wine that should give a lot of pleasure over the next 10-15 years."

- 93 Punkte und "Cellar Selection" WINE ENTHUSIAST, Roger Voss: "This wine comes from a 17-acre portion of the Peyrabon estate that is in Pauillac. Bottled separately, it has a high proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon that gives great richness as well as structure. This rich, ageworthy wine will likely be ready to drink from 2023."

- 90 Punkte WINESPECTATOR, James Molesworth: "Fresh and focused, with a racy beam of cassis and blackberry compote flavors carried by a long, bright iron streak. Pleasantly austere through the finish, with the fruit matching the minerality nicely. Best from 2019 through 2023."

- 91 Punkte VINOUS, Neal Martin: "The 2016 Peyrabon has a finely detailed bouquet with blackberry, raspberry, pressed flower and mineral aromas. This exudes class. The palate is well balanced with fine grain tannin, one of the more saline Cru Bourgeois with touches of oyster shell and spice towards the poised, edgy finish. Very fine. Tasted at the Cru Bourgeois tasting in London."

- 91 Punkte FALSTAFF, Peter Moser: "Dunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, dezente Randaufhellung, zarte Edelholzwürze, dunkle Beerenfrucht, reife Pflaumen, ein Hauch von Orangenzesten. Mittlere Komplexität, rote Kirschen, gut eingebettete Tannine, gute Frische, fruchtsüßer Touch im Abgang, verfügt über Entwicklungspotenzial."

- 90 Punkte DECANTER, Jane Anson: "This is pretty closed down. Feel the weight and the swagger of the tannins, it's a good wine but more foursquare and old school than many Pauillacs who have worked their tannins a little more silkily this year. But I like the traditional side to it - a Pauillac lovers' Pauillac, and a value pick at this wine's usual price point. Drinking Window 2023 – 2038"

- 17 Punkte JANCIS ROBINSON, Julia Harding: "67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot.
Deep crimson. Dusty, dark-fruited finesse on the nose with a touch of cedar/pencil. Refined, fragrant, almost smoky. Elegant, fine-boned tannins and a long fresh finish."
