- 96 Punkte Robert Parkers WINE ADVOCATE, William Kelley: „The 2019 La Fleur-Pétrus dares to outshine Trotanoy this year, wafting from the glass with aromas of rich berry fruit, plum preserve, dark chocolate, cigar box and spices. Full-bodied, rich and enveloping, it's broad and layered, with beautifully polished tannins, a ripe core of fruit and a seamless, enveloping profile. This is an elegantly muscular, generous Pomerol whose sumptuous personality reflects the warm, dry vintage.“

- 95-97 Punkte WINE ENTHUSIAST, Roger Voss: „Barrel Sample. Dark, dense and full of tannins, this is a powerful wine. The concentration in this wine gives it a dry, structured character, but the richness of the blackberry fruits and streak of acidity are likely to kick in attractively as it ages.“

- 96 Punkte WINESPECTATOR, Jame Molesworth: „Seriously dark and winey, showing a deep core of black currant preserve, warmed fig paste and plum reduction flavors inlaid with racy graphite, mouthwatering tobacco and enticing singed alder, bay leaf and freshly plowed humus. Delivers density, grip and definition on the long finish. Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Best from 2025 through 2040. 2,880 cases made.“

- 98 Punkte VINOUS, Antonio Galloni: „The 2019 La Fleur-Petrus is pure and total seduction. Trotanoy and perhaps also Hosanna have traditionally been viewed as more exclusive Pomerols in the Moueix portfolio. The more time passes, the less I share that view. Sure, La Fleur-Petrus does not have the mystique associated from a small single vineyard – as many Pomerols do – and yet there is no denying the elegance and class here. Bright red fleshed fruit, blood orange and exotic spice race across the palate, framed by silky, plush tannins that wrap it all together. La Fleur-Petrus is fabulous. That’s all there isto it.“

- 94-96 Punkte VINOUS, Neal Martin: „The 2019 La Fleur-Petrus underwent double sorting, optical and manual, after harvest betrween 17 September and 3 October. It is matured in 50% new oak. It has a gorgeous bouquet with expressive red and black fruit, intermixed with crushed stone, freshly shaved black truffle and a touch of blue fruit perhaps originatiing from the 3% Petit Verdot. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, gently grippy tannins, undercurrents of tobacco and earth towards the finish. It actually ends more cerebrally than I anticipated, quite mercurial in the glass. This will require several years in bottle, but it will surely be worth the wait. Superb!“

- 98 Punkte FALSTAFF, Peter Moser: „Dunkles Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, dezente Randaufhellung.

- 17,5+ Punkte JANCIS ROBINSON: 94% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot.
Elegant and refined. Compact and discreet. Precision and nuance aligned to a generosity of fruit. Lovely balance and texture and clean and long on the finish. Will need time to open.“

- 98 Punkte JEB DUNNUCK: „The 2019 Château La Fleur-Pétrus is a stunning example of what makes a great Pomerol – richness without weight, incredible elegance, complexity, and length, all of which it has in abundance. Giving up darker, powerful aromatics of blackcurrants, darker cherries, tobacco, chocolate, and just hints of spring flowers, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a layered, concentrated, incredibly sexy mouthfeel, perfect tannins, and a great finish. It's one of the most opulent, seamless, impressive wines in the vintage, although it needs at least 7-8 years of bottle age. It should be a 30- to 40-year wine. Bravo!“

- 98 Punkte JAMES SUCKLING: „So much dried-flower, black-olive, earth and spice character, together with dried fruit, violets and black licorice. Full, yet so fine and linear. It accelerates at the finish, going on and on. A classic beauty. So racy. Best after 2028.“

- 19,5 Punkte WEINWISSER: "Dichtes Purpurrot, schwarze Mitte, lila Reflexe.

Notizen des Weinguts: Situated between Châteaux Lafleur and Petrus, Château La Fleur-Pétrus took its name in the 18th century. Jean-Pierre Moueix, who established his wine merchant business in Libourne in 1937, purchased La Fleur-Pétrus in 1950. This historic estate on the plateau of Pomerol was his first vineyard acquisition. La Fleur-Pétrus is composed predominantly of Merlot, which lends silkiness and generosity to the wine, while a small percentage of Cabernet Franc contributes rigor and complexity. The vineyard is made up of three parcels on the plateau of Pomerol with altitudes averaging 33 to 38 meters above sea level. The pebbly soils from the northern parcel yield a wine of great elegance with notes of black cherries. The center plot, known for its summer heat (the area is called “Tropchaud”), produces a wine of tremendous suppleness with a hint of plum. Wine from the southern parcel is particularly velvety, dense, structured, with a pronounced nose of blackcurrant. Blended, these three singular terroirs with nuanced and complementary characteristics produce a generous, expressive wine with apparent structure and a dominance of black fruit. An attentive tasting reveals remarkable refinement, complexity, and a touch of violet.
