- 96 Punkte DECANTER Panel Tasting St. Emilion & Pomerol 2015 (3/2020) und somit bester Pomerol aus dem Jahrgang 2015: "Purchased by the Janoueix family in 1932 and managed by Jean-Philippe Janoueix since 1999, this 4.2 hectare Pomerol vineyard is a few rows away from Le Pin and close to Vieux Château Certan. The vines are an average of 38 years old, with newer plantings at up to 12,000 vines per hectare, the highest density in Pomerol. Following fermentation in open top vats, the wines are aged in new French cigar shaped oak barrels for 16-20 months; this unique shape allows for more lees and wood contact resulting in a richly oaked style of wine.
97 Punkte Jane Anson: More precision and flesh evident on the first nose here, good quality black chocolate and coffee, bitter but with punch, silky texture and clear poise and hold. Needs more time, but has potential.
97 Punkte Andy Howard MW: Bright, juicy dark red fruits. Fresh berries, lovely crunchy acidity and ripe tannins allied with integrated oak and a fine balance on the palate. Under-stated, refined and long. Cool finish, refined, lovely.
94 Punkte Tim Triptree MW: Deep vibrant ruby colour. Intense aromas of mocha, iodine and mineral. Very complex. Generous black fruit on the plate with fine velvety tannins. At peak, won't age.
Drinking Window 2023 – 2037"

- Robert Parkers WINE ADVOCATE, Lisa Perrotti-Brown: "The 2015 La Croix St Georges is medium to deep garnet-purple in color with a nose of black berries and mulberries with plum pudding, damp soil, truffles and cigar box nuances. Full-bodied, rich and decadent in the mouth with velvety tannins, it finishes with great length."

- VINOUS Antonio Galloni: "The 2015 La Croix St. Georges is an attractive, soft Pomerol to drink now and over the next few years. There is lovely pliancy to the red cherry and plum fruit. Hints of spice, flowers and mint arrive later, adding complexity. The 2015 looks to be an early to medium-term drinker."

- 93 Punkte JEB DUNNUCK: "Run by Jean-Philippe Janoueix and covering a scant 4.5 hectares of prime terroir located between Le Pin, Vieux Château Certain, and Petit Village, La Croix Saint Georges produces roughly 1,400 cases of this terrific Pomerol. The 2015 La Croix Saint Georges is blockbuster stuff that reminds me of the 2012, which is a killer wine. Made from 91% Merlot and 9% Cabernet Franc aged in 50% new oak, it offers an extroverted personality in its huge nose of blackcurrants, plums, saddle leather, and leafy herbs. Dense, medium to full-bodied, nicely concentrated and with moderate tannin, it should drink beautifully for 15+ years."

- 93 Punkte JAMES SUCKLING: "Immense depth, richness and cleverly delivered toasty spiced oak. Some meaty notes and violets, too. The flavor-soaked palate has a very attractive, plush and seamless structure. Superb wine. Try from 2022."

- 94-95 Punkte IZAK LITWAR: "La Croix St.Georges - big structure, powerful and strong, loads of dark berries, great complexity and length. Excellent stuff."
