Hochwertiger Naturkork. 92 Punkte.“
- 90 Punkte TIM ATKIN MW, Rioja Special Report 2023: „Pepe Hildalgo and Álvaro Martínez use grapes from Haro and Villalba, close to the winery, to produce this serious, well-structured all-Tempranillo Crianza. Juicy and concentrated, with liquorice and blueberry flavours and stylishly integrated American oak. 2023-27.“
- Notizen des Weinguts: „TASTING NOTES: This is a wine with a great frankness and aromatic intensity in which ripe fruit predominates: raspberries, red cherries, wild strawberries and redcurrants over a balsamic background of vanilla, toasted caramel, biscuits, coffee and sweet mint. On the palate there is great freshness and balance with smooth, amiable tannins. The aromatic harmony persists in the finish, with jammy red fruit, prunes, coffee, vanilla and caramel notes. A refined Haro vintage that is true to its origines.
FOOD PAIRING: Our crianza stands out for its food-pairing versatility. It is the ideal companion to appetizers, snacks and barbecues, perfect with rice, pasta and creams, and great with lightly-grilled meat and fish with …
2019 VINTAGE: The growth cycle began in late March, a week later than is normal for the area. The delay had of knock-on effect throughout the growing season which was characterised by high levels of humidity and mild temperatures, the ideal conditions for an excellent harvest and grapes with good acidity. The high temperatures and good weather in mid-September ensured good ripening and grapes in perfect condition at harvest time.“

Notizen des Weinguts: | GRAPE VARIETIES: 100% Tempranillo from our vineyards in Haro, in the heart of the Rioja Alta region. 2019 VINTAGE: The growth cycle began in late March, a week later than is normal for the area. The delay had of knock-on effect throughout the growing season which was characterised by high levels of humidity and mild temperatures, the ideal conditions for an excellent harvest and grapes with good acidity. The high temperatures and good weather in mid-September ensured good ripening and grapes in perfect condition at harvest time. ELABORATION: After continuous monitoring on the vine, only bunches at the optimum level of ripeness were selected and taken to the winery in small boxes. Faithful to our style, they were then subjected to traditional fermentation, with destemming, a light pressing and fermentation in vats. In January 2019, the wine passed to American oak casks where it aged for almost two years. The wine was then decanted four times using our traditional gravity method. It was bottled in late 2020 for a subsequent ageing, one of the keys to the production of our classic wines. TASTING NOTES: This is a wine with a great frankness and aromatic intensity in which ripe fruit predominates: raspberries, red cherries, wild strawberries and redcurrants over a balsamic background of vanilla, toasted caramel, biscuits, coffee and sweet mint.
